whats heavy enclomiphene? I'm taking 25 mg daily, it didn't have a great impact, a little above my normal of lh and fsh and went from 200 test to 420. I don't feel like taking it daily is doing anything really.

diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism probably in part from heterozygous hemochromatosis: i use to pin T cyp 80 mg week split dose monday thrusday and i had to chase E2 and SHBG. without anything my totoal t drops to 150ng, free in the tank, ihave had 2 strokes the second i attribute to polycythemia caused by TRT (raise in hct hgb) second stroke was a tia, the 12.5mmg of EC took my totoal t from 150 to 300ng. The landmark study has the target value at 530ng for basic therapeutic value. i have tried to augment the EC with humanaforte and apigenin and i cant get it to increase total t and free is something like 5ng, recently i thought to myself if the EC can just keep me from experiencing polycythemia again it would be great. i plan starting with a single injecion, deltoid at 20mg per week of t cyp in addition ot the EC at 12.5mg a few questions: has anyone done this that had problems with hct and hgb hemoglobin increasing and by stacking like this did the lh and fsh stay expressing and did it keep polycthemia from presenting? the other thing my E2 and SHBG use to rise and fall in parallel with anastraxzole/arimidex, i have not used an ai but my e2 is at 19.5ng in a sweet spot but now my shbg is at 45ng, i have tried boron etc and the bottom line is the shbg stays elevated. when you stack ec and t cyp do you have to run and Aaromotase inhibitor and does e2 and shbg normalize or will i have to stack the AI....i use to have to get anastrazole compounded to something like.01 nano dose it didnt take much but i was trying to avoid all of this any help is appreciated

Seriously consider your fertility before chasing numbers (optimal or not). I would trade 450 levels to be fertile again.

I’m taking it as a stand alone therapy to see if it would raise my low T levels . My pcp was ok with me giving it a try. I’m 62 almost four weeks in. So far can’t tell much of a difference but haven’t had blood work to test the efficacy. My pcp approved sixty days worth to try it.

All of the reference ranges for male estradiol levels are based on “endogenous” levels of testosterone and an average rate of conversion. They have absolutely no appreciation for rates of aromatization while on “exogenous” testosterone. It will likely take numerous peer reviewed, evidence based studies before we can get any reliable reference ranges for the male patients E2 levels while on exogenous testosterone. And., more importantly, as the good doctor pointed out, the idiopathic response to E2 levels is a most individual thing that is highly nuanced in its management. I’ve seen guys with E2 levels greater than 100pg/ml and absolutely no side effects whatsoever. This is a completely different situation for the individual using anabolic, androgenic steroids. If their E2 is above average, then their AAS will be significantly less effective or might not work at all. So, it’s important to consider whom you’re getting advice and input from., TRT or AAS users. It’s a huge consideration.
